Everyone knows you should never ask a girl her age! Samantha doesn't look a day over 5, so it is hard to believe she just turned 9. But this this little beauty has no intention of spending the many good years she has left curled up in a corner sleeping. Samantha loves playing in the warm sunshine and going for long walks. She is easy going, affectionate and loves other dogs. Samantha is also fully housebroken.

Who We Are
Seven even-tempered, gentle beagles were destined for certain death in a Tenessee shelter until fate intervened on a cold January night in 2009. Thus was born Helping Hounds Dog Rescue. Since then, these dogs and over 1300 other four-legged friends have journeyed north, all with new “leashes” on life.
Puppies are cute, but they eventually grow up. At Helping Hounds, we know the wonderful qualities of older dogs. They are generally housebroken (or at least crate-trained). While still full of life, they are less mischievous and better behaved. They are eager to please.
Our mission is to take unwanted, neglected, abused, stray or homeless dogs and provide them with emotional, medical, behavioral and physical support so they can be adopted into loving permanent homes. Helping Hounds Dog Rescue is dedicated to new beginnings, because second hand doesn’t mean second best.
