Jesse is a very handsome solid black kitten with the most beautiful copper eyes. He has lots of personality and purrs the second you go near him. .He's looking for a family of his very own, perhaps with children? Or maybe some other cats or dogs to play with.

There are also kittens that aren't ready to be adopted yet, but you can decide on one now and take it home when they are old enough. If interested, please fill in an application on our website.
Who We Are...
Little Mews is a cat rescue and referral located in Chenango County in beautiful upstate NY. We take in cats and kittens from a variety of situations, usually stray, unwanted, neglected or abused. They're cared for indoors in a foster home with lots of love and attention, and socialized with other cats and dogs. We also can refer you to other organizations in the area that have dogs, cats and other animals for adoption, and have information about low cost spay/neuter options.
All cats and kittens available for adoption have been checked by a vet, vaccinated for FVRCCP, rabies (if over 4 months), tested for Feline Leukemia, wormed, and spayed/neutered if old enough. All health conditions are treated so that the cats can be adopted as healthy as possible.
Adoption fees are only used to help cover the cost of veterinary care and may vary depending on the age and special needs of the cat/kitten.
Our goal is to find safe, healthy, forever homes for cats and to promote spay/neuter so that the number of unwanted cats is lowered every year.
