Gingerbread Chinchilla Rescue is located on a small farm in the Hudson Valley region of NY. Our Chinchillas live in two climate controlled rooms in our home, and are treated as members of our own family, until they find a permanent family of their own.
If you have a Chinchilla that you can no longer keep, or know of one that needs help, please contact us, and we'll do our best to help! We are also available to help rabbits when room is available!
Adopting a friend
If you are interested in adopting one of our angels, you will be asked to complete an application to make sure you and our Chinchilla make a good match. If your application is approved you will be required to sign a contract at the time of adoption and pay your adoption fee before taking your new family member home.
Come Visit Us!
We do not have a facility open to the public. Please contact us if you see a pet you are interested in, and we will schedule an appointment.
