LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC

DONATIONS
We depend on donations to help us defray the cost of caring for our feline friends. We also gladly accept any cat food, litter, blankets, etc. at any of our adoption clinics.
Cat Tales Rescue is a not for profit organization registered with the New York State Charities Registration Bureau, operating from Niskayuna, New York. We are a small, volunteer run, NO KILL, cat rescue organization that provides home foster care and adoption services for cats and kittens. We are dedicated to helping as many lost, homeless, abused, and neglected cats as possible. We seek to educate the public about the necessity of spaying and neutering their companion animals and will assist them in reserving an appointment with a local low cost spay/neuter clinic. We also will assist and educate the public with trap/neuter/return techniques for those wanting to humanely control colonies of feral cats in their neighborhoods.
All of our cats available have been spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FELV and had all age-appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption fee is $70.00 for a cat/ kitten under 1 year and $50.00 for cats 1 year and older. Cats over the age of 7 years are free to seniors being 65 yrs and older. Potential adopters must complete an adoption application. We do require that our cats and kittens be INDOOR only and NOT DECLAWED. We follow up with a phone call a week after the cat/kitten has been adopted to ensure all is well and the Adopter can call us for advice at anytime. We make every effort to match individual personalities and needs of our cats with that of our prospective adopters but in the event that you are unable to keep the cat or kitten we will take the cat back. Please remember that warning should be given before returning so we can find room for the cat.
