We are Red Hook's newest animal rescue organization! We rescue and foster active, young dogs in a home environment. Dogs are trained in the basics and encouraged in the interactive activities and canine sports that they enjoy. RHR Dogs are people friendly and get socialization opportunities with people and other dogs at Hooked On Dogs (dog specialty store) in Red Hook.
The process of adopting a dog from us:
If you are interested in a particular dog, please call or email us for an application and schedule an appointment to meet the dog. Once your application is accepted, we will set up a home visit . If everything works out, an adoption contract will be signed (including an adoption fee) and your new dog will go home!
Come Visit Us!
Most of our dogs will have the opportunity to socialize with other dogs and people at Hooked On Dogs in Red Hook, NY where they will meet potential adopters and unsuspecting customers. Otherwise, the dogs will be fostered in homes with other dogs, adults, children and get plenty of exercise where their athletic talents will surface.
