Our Featured Pet...
*** Cinnamon is a true survivor! *** She originally came from a high kill shelter in Ohio, then she was adopted by an animal hoarder, where she lived in horrible conditions. When we picked her up she didn't have any hair! Cinnamon was taken directly to the vet and was diagnosed with Demodectic mange (not contagious) and ear infections in both ears. This condition was extremely uncomfortable for her. After many months of treatment, Cinny's hair is now growing in and she is ready for her new home! We are so happy that she can still trust humans after all that she has been through.

We would like to send out a special thanks to Ellicott Small Animal Hospital in Buffalo, NY. Thanks to their caring staff, Cinnamon is now ready for her new life!
Who We Are
We are a small rescue that helps out ANY animal in need when we have the ability to do so. After an animal is rescued, we provide vet care, spay/neutering, vaccinations and whatever else is needed for the animal. We LOVE "pit bull" type dogs and live to advocate for this misunderstood "breed" ("Pit Bull" is not an official breed- There are three breeds which are easily confused- the American Staffordshire Terrier, the American Pit Bull Terrier, and the Staffordshire Bull Terrier).
That said, we rescue everything from pit bulls and hedgehogs to bunnies and chickens, and even chihuahua's and kittens:)
Our experience with all types of animals, and the small scale we operate on, ensures that each animal is given the utmost care and compassion, and that each animal receives individual attention and personalized rehabilitation until they find their "furever" home!
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED PRIOR TO GOING HOME!
We would like to dedicate this site to Blue, the goodwill ambassador of pit bulls. Blue was an amazing dog and friend. He is greatly missed. Love you Boo-boo!

Adopting a friend
After a potential adopter chooses their new best friend, then they will fill out an adoption application. *Please note that the adoption application does not guarantee adoption of the animal*
Next, references will be checked, then a home visit is performed. If all goes well, the adopter has a new best friend for life!
Come Visit Us!
We do not have an actual shelter location. All of the animals are located in private foster homes. An appointment can be made to meet the animal.
