We are currently undergoing renovations in our kennel facility. We appreciate your patience while we improve our appearance!
Who We Are
We are primarily a full service veterinary hospital, but we work closely with the animal control officers in surrounding villages and towns. Because these communities have no shelters, the animals are brought to us for holding until they can be claimed. If they are not claimed in 10 days, they become ours to adopt out. We do not have a lot of room to hold animals long term so we try to place them as soon as possible. Please check back often, our pets are always changing.
We are NOT a shelter, please do not call about dropping pets off.
Adopting a friend
We require a completed adoption agreement and and adoption fee (standard fee for dogs is $150.00 and is subject to change) which includes spay/neuter when necessary, heartworm/lyme test, rabies and distemper vaccination. Adoption of cats and kittens include FeLV/FIV testing. first distemper and rabies vaccine (standard fee for cats $100). All animals are spayed or neutered BEFORE leaving our hospital. All animals must be Rabies vaccinated before leaving this facility. Optional vaccinations for lyme disease and bordetella are available but will be an additional cost. Please call for more information if you are interested in one of our pets.

We are located across from Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury, about 1 mile north of Dix Ave. and 1 mile south of SPCA. Please call for hours.
