Who We Are

Windy Hill Kitten Rescue was established by Joanna and Greg Collins along with their three sons Cory, Christopher and Ethan. The family’s passion for animals led them to volunteer in many capacities in animal welfare throughout the years. Through these activities, the family has developed a specific interest in the welfare of pregnant cats and kittens. These two very vulnerable groups are often in need of special care which we a re committed to providing in a clean, safe and caring environment.

Our Miracle finds a new mom...

Sponsor a litter; every little bit helps. us

Lucina and her four kittens were brought in from the cold. Just hours after taking them into Windy Hill kitten rescue an orphan was found. Lucina gently placed her paw around the newborn baby and let her nurse and get warm. This video was taken the day after little Miracle arrived.

By becoming a sponsor for a litter you are helping to secure funds for their veterinarian care. Each litter will cost between $300-$500 dollars depending on its size. Ever little bit helps; together we can make a difference. Give individual or start a collection in your office or youth group. I have supplies and ideas and will help you be successful in raising funds for your sponsorship. Give the gift of a sponsorship for the holidays. See our home website for details of this exciting program. http://www.windyhillkittens.com

What we do

Our small highly valued team of volunteers, spends time with helping to heal the bodies and souls of the injured, abandoned and abused queens and kittens brought to our shelter. Our goal is to find the right lasting and loving home for each of our residents. We work with our adopters to find the right cat or kitten for them, with the understanding that a lifelong relationship is about to begin.

Youth Outreach

Youth outreach is a very important part of our mission. Teaching youth responsible animal stewardship and encouraging youth to make a difference in their world is key.
