Sally is a sweet, beautiful long haired two year old female cat that needs a loving home. Sally was adopted out as a kitten 2 years ago, but was returned due to extenuating family circumstances. LI Kitties will be having an adoptathon this Saturday July 31, 2010 from 10:30AM to 3pm at Agway on Osborne Ave in Riverhead. We have many beautiful kittens and cats for adoption. All tested, spayed/neutered, deflead, dewormed. Extremely sweet and playful. There are so many kittens needing homes, please come and open your hearts and homes to 1 or 2 of them. Who We Are
We are a 501 (c) (3) non profit, no kill rescue organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of homeless or stray cats and kittens. We foster, socialize when necessary, and then place them into loving homes. This also includes vet examination, de-fleaing, de-worming, testing for FELV/FIV and spaying or neutering each cat or kitten before putting them up for adoption. We work in cooperation with other rescue organizations that share our beliefs. We do not have a shelter, we just use foster homes. We have no federal or state assistance. We also offer advice and try to educate the public with the importance of spay/neuter.

ADOPTING A FRIEND
All of the cats/kittens we have for adoption have been vet checked, de-fleed, de-wormed, tested for FELV/FIV, and spayed/neutered. There is a $65 adoption fee for kittens and $50 adoption fee for adults to help cover the cost of the veterinary bills. We have an adoption questionaire which needs to be filled out prior to adoption and an adoption contract which must be signed at the time of the adoption. The adoption of a cat or kitten from LI Kitties is based upon the sole discretion of LI Kitties, it's Director and its Board members. Said entities have the right to refuse any individual or individuals an adoption for any reason deemed not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, including, but not limited to, the health and safety of the cat or kitten to be adopted.
