Teddy Bear is a special Chow Chow that needs someone to show him how to love.
News
As the DCO for a small town, it's amazing that I come across so many dogs in need. All of the dogs are wonderful and need someone understanding and patient. I have an Adoption Contract that I can send you a copy of to see in advance, just send me an e-mail and ask any questions that you may have about one or all of the dogs. Also please check out my website at www.taps-trainingandshowing.com and there are some dog links on there as well including the Ohio Dog Newsletter. I also have a page called "In Memory Of " for anyone that may have lost a special friend and would like a way to remember them.
Who We Are
Tracy and Jim Forman are the town of Ohio, NY DCO's and have taken that responsibility to a different level. I hold the dogs for an extended holding period, and after that continue to give them love, attention, and training to make them more adoptable. All of this is done on a volunteer basis on our part and the adoptions are a project of "The Forman's." So many dogs do not do well in the shelter situation, and in my kennel it is very "at home" for the dogs, with lots of interaction and attention at different times of the day. Whether the dogs go to work with me or just for a romp with my canine family, I try to keep them well socialized.
Adopting a friend
There has been a slight change in the adoption process. Instead of collecting a returnable fee, you will be charged for anything medical that the dog has had up to the point of adoption. Once a dog is chosen, I will get the altering done and the rest of the vaccinations and that will be your fee. (Approximately $250 - $300). The Adoption Contract does need to be signed before completing the adoption process.
