On May 2nd, we received a call from a resident of a town in western Putnam County. He told us that he had been feeding a group of kittens and their mother, living in a pile of construction debris. He noticed that the kitten's eyes were all crusted over and they were barely able to open them to see. This kind person had gently cleaned their eyes, but by the next day all the kittens were again unable to open their eyes to see. He brought the most sickly looking kitten to a local vet and asked for help with the rest of the litter. He was referred to Putnam Felines. With his help, we were able to trap the remaining three kittens and began treating them with antibiotics, warmth, love, and a steady supply of quality food. They are all now healthy with beautiful, bright eyes and are looking for their forever homes.
Putnam Felines has a wonderful selection of cats and kittens waiting for adoption. All our cats are delivered to you spayed or neutered, with all shots, dewormed, and microchipped with 24 Pet Watch .
Who We Are
Putnam Felines is a not-for-profit corporation that provides care and protection to feral and stray cats through a trap-neuter-return and management program. We spend tremendous effort to foster and socialize cats that we believe can be adopted into loving families. We are an all-volunteer organization.
