Emilie is approximately 1 year old, and was rescued, along with her two kittens, from a vacant lot behind a grocery store. The kind employees of the store fed her for 3 months! She is so very sweet and people-friendly!She must have had a family at one time, She is calm, playful, and seeks attention and affection she has unusual markings. She was a great mother and now that her job is over, it is time for her to get the loving forever home that she deserves.
All of our cats and kittens are delivered spayed or neutered, with all age appropriate immunizations, free of parasites, tested for FIV and Leukemia and microchipped. The adoption fee is $95.

We have been very busy with out TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) work as well as preparing our adoptable rescued cats and kittens for a new life in a forever home. We have several foster homes in the Putnam/Dutchess County area, and are always looking for more.
Adoption events are held at PetSmart,Cortlandt Town Center, Route 6, Mohegan Lake, NY. Every Sunday from 12:00 to 3:OO p.m. we have also held adoption events at Feed Barn in Mahopac, and Animal Kingdom in Brewster. Several cats and kittens have been placed into loving homes as a result of these events. The Petfinder site has been a huge asset in helping guide individuals and families looking for the right addition to their home to us.
Putnam Felines is exceptional in its dedication to raising adoptable kitties in homes where they learn what it means to be a member of a family. Our cats and kittens become familiar with the sounds of a typical household (TV, radio, telephone, dishwasher, etc.), and some of our kitties are raised in homes with other cats, kittens, dogs, and/or children!

Putnam Felines is a not-for-profit corporation that provides care and protection to feral and stray cats through a trap-neuter-return and management program. We spend tremendous effort to foster and socialize cats that we believe can be adopted into loving families. We are an all-volunteer organization.
