Our Goal
All Outside Cats Neutered or Spayed & Eartipped with a Caretaker who Provides Water, Food and Shelter
P.A.T.S. is NY state charitable corporation and is recognized by the IRS as a charity. Donations are always needed to pay for the veterinary expenses. Checks payable to P.A.T.S. may be sent to 490 New York Ave., Baldwin NY 11510. $50 dollars will provide for a spay or neuter, 3-1 vaccination and rabies vaccination and an ear tip for one feral cat. While we trap for many folks who donate funds to pay for the strays around their area, there are many trapping jobs for which no funds are available, except your contributions. Thank you.

PATS has met many wonderful people through these groups. It is impressive how the different groups work together to assist in the goal of reducing the cat population humanely.

WANTED
PATS would like to find a volunteer who is able to recuperate two cats per week in a quiet year round 60 degree area. One of the biggest problems with TNR is the recuperation. The cats are kept in traps or cages during the one to four day recuperation period after surgery. Not everyone is capable of doing this, due to physical space limits or the emotional problems of dealing with cats fresh from surgery. It is best not to be a cat owner or be able to locate the recuperation area away from your cats, to prevent spread of germs. Email PATS at feralpats@yahoo.com
P.A.T.S. would like to thank PETCO FOUNDATION and the customers of PETCO AGAIN!. During another fundraiser, PETCO's customers purchased donation cards or rounded-up their purchase for a donation. Each PETCO store selected an animal welfare organization and channeled the donations to that group. In Baldwin's PETCO, that group was P.A.T.S. Thanks to you all from the ferals that will be neutered and live happier lives in a maintained colony without kittens and fighting!
Who We Are
We are a group of volunteers who trap, neuter and release feral cats, maintain cat colonies and adopt out the kittens and friendly strays that wander into a colony.
This picture shows a happy ending. These cats, Orange Dad, a thin Brown Tabby Mom and her four kittens ended up on Nancy's porch. Nancy through, LICP, found an advisor and got everyone neutered. Dad & Mom were ear-tipped and live outside. The kittens were adopted with the help of petfinder.
Adopting a friend
Shelley handles our adoptions out of PETCO in Baldwin. The adoptees are generally kittens or young cats. Joe is also adopting out older kittens.
