We are currently overloaded with kittens and need the community's help. If you are looking to adopt or know of a family that is, please please send them to our adoption day held on Saturdays from 12-3pm 87 Foster Ave., Sayville 11782. We are a small group of volunteers and do not have a shelter. We will not be able to continue to do rescues until we find some of our kids new homes. If you are bigger group or shelter and have some room, please contact us. We are in trouble!

For a limited time, we are going to lower our adoption fee to $125 for two adoptions.

Note to the Community: We would like to bring it to everyones attention that some people drive around to department stores looking for people who are getting rid of kittens. It has been discovered that some of these people may be feeding kittens to their snakes. We know it is hard to find homes for all of this little ones, But please try friends and families first and then try checking references.

Cats have a special way of warming our hearts and mending our souls when we are worn down. They also keep us young and energized with their amazing personalities. Older cats have a hard time finding a home because that cute, little kitten, playing with the stuffed mouse, creates such spectacular show that is impossible for an older cat to touch. Older cats are filled with wisdom and love and make an addition to any family more complete. Please consider adopting one of our older friends, that have waited so patiently for the opportunity to go to a warm, loving home.
ADOPTION DAY:
We will be holding adoption days every Saturday, from 12-3pm at 87 Foster Ave., Sayville 11782. THIS IS TO VIEW CATS/KITTENS ONLY! As we do not have a shelter, appointments are necessary for times other then what is listed above or if you are interested in dogs. FUND RAISERS: Annual Dinner This years dinner will be held at the West Sayville Country club on Friday, April 11th. It was a big success and a fun night. Thank you to everyone who made this night possible! If you missed it this year, you have to come next year! Donations are what keep our communities animals healthy, taken care of and help us find them loving and caring homes! We wouldn't be able to run without you! YARD_SALES: BIG BUCKS RAFFLE. P.A.W.S is a non-profit organization based out of Fire Island and Sayville, New York. Our rescue league is made up of all volunteers and paid for entirely by donations from the community. We rescue stray cats and kittens, nurse them back to health, and spay/neuter them. When they are ready, we adopt them out to loving and caring families. "Rescue is immediate action, adoption is permanent love." saying by a P.A.W.S volunteer 2004 P.A.W.S has many kittens, teenage and older cats. All of our kittens/cats are up to date on vaccines and medical care and if old enough, spayed/neutered. We also FELV test all of our cats and sometimes they get FIV tested as well. All of our cats must be kept indoors because it is safer for them and they will live longer, healthier lives. We do background checks on potentially adoptive families and ask for a minimum donation fee of $75. For a limited time, in order to find homes for as many kittens as possible, we are asking for $125 for two kittens. This donation helps us cover some of the medical and vaccination fees, along with the cost of feeding and caring for our foster care kittens/cats. This minimum donation does not cover all the expenses, by any means, but it truly helps. We regret that we can not accommodate out-of-state adoptions due to our adoption procedures. For all adoptions, we require to meet in person and observe the cat/kitten with you. All potential adoptive family's must fill out an application and there is a waiting period as we contact your references. If you already have a cat or dog, remember... All Pets need a friend!
