Who We Are
A dog control office for the Town of Van Buren in Baldwinsville, NY, located on Van Buren Rd., we take in lost dogs within our Town limits and try to adopt out dogs when no owner has claimed them.
Adopting a friend
The cost to adopt is $10.00 and a rabies shot must be given before the dog can be taken home. New York State also requires a spay/neuter deposit of $35.00. If the dog is spayed/neutered within 90 days, the money is refunded. Low-cost spay/neuter vouchers are available through the town for adopted dogs.
Come Visit Us!
Please call to make an appointment to visit any of our dogs available for adoption. The Town office is located at 7575 Van Buren Rd. in Baldwinsville, northwest of Syracuse. From Route 690 N., Van Buren Rd. exit, turn right and we are on your left about a 1/2 mile down. From Route 690 S, take Van Buren Rd. exit turn left and we are down about 1/2 mile on your left.
