Provide valuable services to the community the
Western New York and Erie County area such as
Pet Therapy; we take animals to schools,
rehab centers, hospitals and nursing homes.
This program is being revitalized through Therapy Pets of WNY.
We always need both people and pets interested in bringing a
ray of sunshine to those who need the love
and encouragement of a friendly furry face!

We were the first to start a " Pet Food Bank" providing pet food to
low income individuals and the elderly.
We would rather see them keep their pets which
provides the seniors a reason to get up in the morning
and many times the pet provides compansionship and protection too.
Our Forever Program
will provide a place for your pet to live out the rest
of its life after you pass away, here on 20 country acres in East Aurora, New York
(Arrangements must be made ahead of time).

We are a non-profit, 501c3, tax-exempt Special Care and Maternity Shelter.
That means we take in animals with special needs, pregnant cats, orphaned
and/or abandoned kittens/puppies. We operate 365/24/7.
WE HAVE ONLY ONE LOCATION, NO ANIMALS ARE FOSTERED OUTSIDE OF THE SHELTER.
That means we take care all the animals left in our care,
it is strictly controlled, which is better for the animals.
After the animals are medically cleared, the cats and kittens mingle
freely among all the other residents inside and enjoy frolicking around the pond in the summer!
or taking a long walk with the volunteers. All animals surrendered receive food, shelter, medical attention.
They are prepared for adoption by spay/neutering, shots,
feline leukemia combo tested for cats & kittens, dewormed, distemper/parvo for dogs
and If needed flea prevention for all.

We have taken in thousands of animals since our inception in 1984

depend on the generosity of businesses and the public for our animals.
100% of funds go directly to our shelter!
Adopting a friend
Shelter animals--all have been spay/neutered,
dewormed,shots, feline leukemia tested (for kitties)and flea prevention if needed, microchipped

Adoption fee is $50.00 for cats/kittens, $180 for puppies, $90.00 for dogs over 6 months of age includes
spaying or neutering,
1st shot,
1st deworming,
free health check-up,
free pet food,
(for kitty cats only)leukemia combo tested
all are microchipped,
Please bring a carrier for cats & a leash for dogs to safely transport your new friend home.
