Who We Are
We are a home-based rescue that ordinarily only takes in one to two animals at a time, affording them the ability to live in a family like atomosphere, right down to sleeping in our beds. Since most of our dogs are terriers, we prefer to place our animals in new homes with fenced in yards and at least one family member with a flexible schedule. Crate training is recommended and generally started on all dogs.
Adopting a friend

I do require a Vet Reference, so please locate a Vet in your area that you plan on working with and that you have contacted with your plans to adopt. Please ask for a fee schedule so that you will be familiar with the cost of owning a dog. An appointment is required within 5 days of adoption to insure that you are satisfied with the health of your new dog.
Come Visit Us!
Since this is my home visiting is done strictly by appointment, but since a home visit and interview with the dog is required I generally come to you. Because of rising gas prices, I now request a donation of .25 per mile of travel from New Paltz, NY. I will travel to the following states with a dog: NJ, CT, MA, PA generally within a 2-4 hours radius of my home. This donation
is required regardless of whether adoption is completed.
