"Jellicle Cats are white and black,
Jellicle Cats are of moderate size;
Jellicle Cats jump like a jumping-jack,
Jellicle Cats have moonlit eyes....." T.S. Eliot
Hi I'm Moo! I think I got my name from all my black and white cow spots. Aren't I cute?! I am THE BIGGEST HUGGER IN THE WORLD!!! Can you believe I was on the list to be put to sleep at the overcrowded shelter. I love people and whenever my foster moms is nearby, I climb into her lap and put my paws on her shoulders to drink in all the love I can!! I'm a sweet delicate little girl.... looking for my real home. Is it yours?

Who We Are
For over ten years, this Hell's Kitchen institution has been a lifeline for abandoned, stray, neglected and orphaned cats and kittens -- many of whom have been anonymously left at the store, or found wandering the streets. These creatures come to us from all over, each welcomed with kindness and medical attention, with the specific goal of finding each one a permanent, loving home. Well-known within the Broadway community, we have been featured on New York 1 Television and in Time Out magazine. We are now a member of the Mayor's Alliance and a New Hope Partner with the ACC. We always enjoy meeting new volunteers and people who share our mission -- to compassionately rescue, care for and place New York City's homeless cats and kittens. Come in today to see our new "cat house" and maybe you'll find a new friend -- one of our truly "Anjellicle Cats"!
Our Adoption Procedure
If you've found the cat of your dreams and wish to begin the adoption process, you only need to call or email Anjellicle Cats Rescue and arrange to meet a representative at Spoiled Brats, 340 W. 49th St.. Adoptions are done by appointment although there is usually someone on site every evening from 6 - 8pm.
Once you've filled out an application, someone will go through an adoption package with you with updated information on cat care. We require a donation of $125 for one cat or $225 for two. The kitten or cat will then be personally delivered to their new home.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated with FVRCP (3 in 1) and spayed or neutered if they're old enough. We believe it is much kinder to adopt kittens with another kitten or cat unless there is already a cat in their new household.
Come Visit Us!
Many of our cats can be seen in our Kitty Room at Spoiled Brats, 340 W. 49th St., between 8th and 9th Avenues.... easily accessible from the 49th Street stop of the C and E train.
