Please accept this invitation to look into the eyes of our "rescues." Maybe you'll discover them looking back at you. And maybe, just maybe, your heart and your family can grow a little larger?

MY LOVEABLE RESCUES" is a member of "The Mayor's Alliance For New York City's Animals. We are a small, individual, private rescue group, dedicated to help unwanted dogs and puppies in danger. Most the dogs & puppies we rescue, are strays and/or surrenders in high kill shelters. Many of them have been pulled from "Death Row". We also rescue dogs and puppies from backyard breeders and puppy mills. Before coming to us, these animals were sick, abandoned, neglected, abused, and/or injured at some point in their life. Because we do not receive funds from any outside sources, we rely solely on donations to continue our rescue efforts as well as help defer our costly medical expenses
.
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE A DONATION DIRECTLY TO OUR VET, PLEASE CONATCT LAURA: HOTSHOT824@AOL.COM. FOR THE NAME, PHONE NUMBER, AND ADDRESS OF OUR VET :o)
Who We Are
-- We are very passionate about what we do -- We love and care for these animals unconditionally, with our heart & soul!!
Our goal is to place our homeless rescues in permanent loving homes as their former owners have already abandoned them at least once before.
We do not have a "physical" shelter, all our rescues are in foster homes or boarding facility, where they are socialized and nurtured back to health, before we place them in their forever home.
What We do
We take into our "homes", these lost souls (regardless of breed, age, size or health status) who need a renewed chance to be loved & cared for, and become permanent family members. Our adoption donation of $250.00 covers full medical exams including all of the necessary vaccines. ALL our rescues are spayed/neutered. Once in our care, each dog is taken to a veterinarian for examination and given treatment for detected health problems as recommended. All animals available for adoption are microchipped, socialized, current on their vaccinations, heartworm negative, and have been cared for as indoor pets only, since coming to us.
FOSTERING
We are always in need of foster homes!! We will gladly email a foster application to anyone who would like to open their heart & home to one (or even two!) of our rescues. :o))) Please contact Laura: HOTSHOT824@AOL.COM or Jennifer: Cutijen1014@AOL.COM, and we will be happy to email you our foster application :o)))
For those who do not want a long term commitment, fostering is an excellent option!!! We would be delighted to share with you, the experience of fostering a dog!!
Please realize that dogs and puppies may need vet care while being fostered/adopted, including medications, checkups, boosters or titer tests, heartworm and flea/tick preventative. We will be happy to help out when ever we can. Fostering a pet may be a long-term commitment -please consider this before fostering.
DONATIONS
No donation is ever too small :o)) If your current situation does not allow for a "roommate" but you would like to help support our animals, donations are a great way to help! We welcome blankets, pillows, toys, bowls, treats, beds, leashes, crates, food, (dog & puppy!) and/or any other dog/puppy related item you can think of to help keep our rescues comfortable & happy!!
All our donations and adoption fees are applied toward caring for the dogs, medical bills, and boarding expenses we incur. If you would like to send a donation directly to our vet toward our medical expenses, please contact LAURA at: Hotshot824@aol.com for all the info. :o))
Adopting a friend
As we strive to place the appropriate dog in the appropriate home, a completed adoption application must be returned to us before an appointment can be arranged to visit with our animals. The adoption application helps us to learn more about you, your home, and your level of experience, if any, with dogs. Home visits, vet references, and contract signing (which stipulates the animal MUST be returned to us if you can no longer care for him/her) are also part of the adoption process. This is all to ensure the safety of the dog since we don't know you.
We find beauty in the most incomprehensible places
and the otherwise homely faces.
It is our gift to see beyond the dirt, terror,
sadness and defeat and find the true soul that
lies within. We are Rescue.
