Who We Are

Located in the foothills of the Catskill Mountains, Catskill Animal Sanctuary provides a safe and loving haven for abused and abandoned horses and farm animals—animals who have never known warm shelter, spacious pastures, good food, or the touch of a kind hand. Since 2001, CAS has provided refuge for close to 1,400 such animals, including horses, ponies, cows, goats, sheep, donkeys, pigs, rabbits, and a variety of birds.

Adopting a friend

Please fill out an adoption application on our website www.casanctuary.org. Please note that our adoption zone is limited to homes within a 4-hour drive of the sanctuary.

Come Visit Us!

We are open on Saturdays and Sundays for educational visits, 11- 3, April through October. Tours at 11am, 12pm, & 2pm, children's tour at 1pm. Free admission with valid membership card -- you can join at the door! General admission $10.00 / seniors, kids 12 & under $5. Check our calendar for special events www.casanctuary.org
