The Vestal Dog Shelter is a town facility, with offices at the Town Hall and kennels at Vestal Veterinary Hospital. We shelter stray dogs from the town, until they are redeemed, adopted, or euthanized.

Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM (Memorial Day-Labor Day 8AM-4PM)
Our adoption fee is $95.50. This includes first vaccinations and worming, NYS dog license and a $35.00 refundable spay/neuter fee (if spayed/neutered within 30 days of adoption). We also include a Spay/Neuter voucher ( New York State Residents Only)that enables the dog to be spayed or neutered at a participating veterinarian for $30.00.
