Cat Assistance, Inc. - Who We Are

Cat Assistance is a small private cat shelter in Westchester County, NY. We have cats and kittens for adoption, most of them have been rescued from private owners who are forced to give up their pets.Cat owners give up their cats for various reasons: such as they are moving and the new landlord does not allow pets or someone in the family has developed an allergy to the cat. We are now part of the Mayor's Alliance in New York City and we rescue cats and kittens from the Center for Animal Care and Control. Our hope is to end the euthanizing of all adoptable pets in New York City. .

All donations are tax deductible and all donations are used for cat food, cat litter, medical care, spay and neuters.

We also accept donations of cat food, litter, cat toys and beds, paper towels, paper plates all used in our shelter. We will pick up from your home.

Get ready for the 2009 Pet Fair & Expo, Saturday, October 10

Planning is in full swing for this years event. Once again held at the Premiere indoor expositon Hall in Westchester County. The County Center in White Plains. Event hours are 10:00 am - 5;00 PM. There wll once again be 14 rescue groups, shelters and humane societies with over 125 pets for adoption dogs, cats and exotics too. Plus great entertainment demonstrations and lots of give-a-ways.
