Dog Control Shelters & Officers in Oswego County
Each town in Oswego County has its own dog control officer (DCO) who works part time to pick up lost or stray dogs. The DCO may shelter these dogs at his or her own premises, a local veterinary clinic or a shelter of another municipality. If you lost a dog in Oswego County, it may very well be sheltered in a municipality other than your own. You should try to contact the DCOs and shelters of the other nearby towns and cities as well.
