Pet of the Month

All of our dogs are special and instead of doing a pet of the week or month,
we prefer that you visit our pet list to see if that special one you are
looking for is there. If you don't see one, keep checking back. Many come to
us with minor problems (fearful or poor condition) and we take the time to
work with these animals until we are sure they are ready to go to a new
home. Although you may only see a few, there are more at the shelter not
quite ready to be shown yet.
News
Like most shelters, we have a wish list. We need the usual things like blankets, stamps, cleaning supplies, treats (not rawhides), vitamins, a
PC with printer if possible, also additional fencing to enable the dogs to
run in a larger area safely and the help to put it up. Donations, of course, are always welcome and can be mailed to our address.
Who We Are
We are an all-breed rescue/no-kill shelter. We provide the best care possible to our dogs including medical care, training and TLC. We put much effort in placing our dogs into homes where they will best be matched so that the dogs and the families we place them in will both be content. All our dogs are spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines before being placed into their new homes.
We are a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization and the expenses of operating our shelter are very high. One of our dogs we have rescued must undergo surgery before we can adopt her out. In addition we have the costs of spaying and neutering, food and upkeep of our kennels. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. We are also in need of volunteers who may be interested in showing and marketing our dogs at adoptathons held in pet stores. The sooner we can place our dogs into their forever homes, the more dogs we can help save.
