Our pet of the month introduces himself... Hi, I'm Joey Bananas! I was rescued from a paper recycling plant in Dumbo by Verushka, the world famous Vogue model and actress from the sixties! I guess some of her style rubbed off on me as I've since been in some photo shoots of my own with Siobhan and all my catty pals here at the Kitten Kat Farm! I'm a very handsome orange fella and love being petted and rubbed by my human and cat friends! Why don't you contact the Kitten Kat Farm and make an appointment to come see me? I'm sure my secretary will be able to squeeze you into my busy schedule, right in between my sun bath and yoga session! Call me, babe, we'll do lunch!

Plenty of Older Cats for Good Homes! Older cats make great stay-at-home companions! We hope to update our list more regularly, but you can call us at (212) 475-3785 to arrange a visit to our shelter. Please stay in touch! We are currently working on our 501 (c) 3 application for no-profit status. We always look for volunteers for both animal maintenance and clerical. Who We Are
The Furry Love Kitten Kat Farm is a no-kill Foster Home/Placement Group. Furry Love exists in order to provide a hospice and sanctuary for many "unadoptable" cats, such as severely abused, invalid, geriatric and emotionally or physically challenged cats. We also provide adoption services for many abandoned and homeless cats and kittens through listings on Petfinder.com. All of our cats and kittens are rescues and are spayed or neutered.
Adopting a friend
References are a must! Adopters must be willing to be screened thoroughly in order to ensure proper placement of cats and kittens. The contract states that the Farm remains the legal guardian of the cat and will accept the cat back. No euthanising without contacting us first. We are not their owners, they are not our property. The Furry Love Kitten Kat Farm remains legal gaurdian of the cat for its lifetime. The adopter is considered entrusted foster parent for an indefinite period of time, for as long as they are willing to uphold the terms of the contract. Our cats will always be accepted back. No declawing allowed.
