Pet of the Month
Ike is our dog of the month. We have just accepted this happy-go-lucky guy into our program. So far we're discovering that Ike is great fun to be with. He'll run and play for awhile then wants to snuggle up in someone's arms. Ike loves to ride in the car and he would be mighty happy to have a female housemate to romp with.

Out of the Pits holds adoption and public education clinics regularly at Checkerhill Farms at Scotia, NY and at other locations in and about New York's Capital District. Who We Are
Out of the Pits, a non-profit organization founded in 1996, is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of those Pit Bulls that have been abandoned and abused. We seek to educate the public about the true nature of the Pit Bull and to restore the breed to its former position of esteem in the hearts and minds of people everywhere.
