FURRY FRIENDS ANIMAL RESCUE (FFAR) is a very small group of volunteers who give their time to help place animals in loving homes. The volunteers foster the animals and take care of them while waiting for the perfect home. Some of the animals are found as strays, some have been dumped, some have been taken out of the pound.
Foster Homes Needed
FFAR is always looking for foster homes so we can save more animals.
Adopting a friend
Anyone interested in adopting one of the animals available must be interviewed and approved before an animal is placed in a new home. This process consists of filling out an adoption application, a home visit (adopter must be local), signed contract, an adoption donation (which helps cover some of the expenses incurred while caring for the animals), and a follow up home visit.
Come Visit Us!
Visits are by appointment only, since the animals are cared for in private homes. Please e-mail with your home telephone number to arrange an appointment or for more information.
