Manhattan Valley Cat Rescue is a group of neighborhood volunteers united to help ease the plight of abandoned cats and kittens living on the streets of the neighborhood, known as Manhattan Valley (100 Street to 110 Street, between Amsterdam Avenue and Central Park West)in the borough of Manhattan. We are a 501c3 organization, which means that all donations are tax deductable.
In over 10 years of rescue work we have saved over 400 cats from the streets of Manhattan. Through the use of a small network of foster homes and donated space we are currently caring for over 60 cats. Many of these have not been able to get adopted due to health or behavioral problems. We are strictly no kill, and once we rescue a cat we stay committed to them for their life span. All our rescues are fully vetted, spayed and neutered, and fed only top quality healthy diets.
We got a desperate phone call from this person who needs to find a foster home or adopted home asap.

5yr old black and white spayed feamale domestic short hair looking for a loving home.
She's friendly with other cats and people once she gets familier to her surroundings. She will come up to greet you, she'll follow you around the house. You can pet her. She's the type that likes to hang around the house. She'll sleep with you at night. She doesn't like to be picked up much. She has never been around dogs so I'm not sure how she will react. I had her since her mom had given birth to her. She has two other sisters. I lived in a room for 5yrs in the bronx. They were the size of my hand when I moved in. I was planning to give them away but fell in love with them. I now had six cats. I recently had to move out of that room. Its very hard to find a place that will let you take one cat let alone six. I was lucky enough to find a place for fatty girl. But unfortunately the person I gave fatty girl to is getting evicted and asked me to take her back. I'm now living with my farther and I'm blessed that he let's me keep the four I have now. I wish I didn't have to give
any of them away. It kills me to think what's going to happen to her if I don't try to find help for her. I gave her away trying to give her a better life. The last thing I want for her is to end up in a shelter where she can end up dead in a week or two. Can someone please help! Please call 212-222-9007, to meet them or get more info.
