Northern Nevada Ferret Network
News
We have a new webmaster, and are in the process of building a new website, but in the meantime you can visit our (outdated) site at www.NNFN.net.
Currently we have several ferrets available for adoption. We're working on getting them all listed on the site. We also have quite a few "permanent residents" to list as well. These are ferrets in need of sponsors to help with medical expenses for ongoing veterinary care. These ferrets are not adoptable, due to their health conditions. Treatment can be very costly, and is usually paid for by the foster home, so any donation, regardless of size, is always appreciated. If you would like more information please contact us.
Who We Are
The NNFN, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is committed to informing and educating the public of the pleasures and responsibilities of owning domestic ferrets as well as how to provide proper care for these creatures. The NNFN also assists in the permanent placement of unwanted, abandoned, and California confiscated ferrets through NNFN authorized shelters, rescues and foster homes.
Adopting a friend
We have a long adoption process, because we all want to make sure that these ferrets find a happy home, with all the proper care they need. We want to make sure that the new home is ready for all the work and expense that comes with ferret ownership. If you are interested, please visit www.NNFN.net, click the "adoptables" link, fill out an adoption application, and email it back to us.
