Lander County Animal Control
We are the Lander County Animal Control. We are located in Battle Mountain, Nevada. We have one full time officer( Cindy ) We currently have 20 indoor/outdoor kennels. We work hard on getting all dogs back to their homes or adopting them out to good homes. If you lose your family pet PLEASE, call to all surrounding shelters as we get alot of dogs that people passing through find on their way and bring them to us.
Adopting a friend
*Adopting your new family member is so easy !! Our adoption fee is $15.00 plus $5.00 for a Lander County License fee [if applies] All our dogs come with a spay / neuter certificate for Lander County residents which covers $50.00 off the spay / neuter procedure, The dogs are microchiped also and receive 30 days of pet insurance too. We do require that your new friend gets their Rabies Vaccination within 30 days. Our contract you sign states that you will keep the dog and treat them in a humane manner, providing food, water, shelter, and any medical care. WE REGRET THAT WE CAN NOT TRANSPORT OR FLY ANY OF THE DOGS.

On Main Street stop at 4 way stop lights, if you are coming from the west turn left , if coming from the East turn right , go over railroad tracks, turn left on N. 2nd Street( 2nd left)follow road till you come to MI Drilling and turn Right onto a dirt road. There is an Animal Shelter sign. We are the first building on left.
