Effective June 21, 2005 the Dewey shelter is now closed.. . All of the remaining 16 dogs were adopted by the Nevada SPCA. You can view these animals and other adoptable animals by visiting their shelter located right behind the Dewey shelter. Their phone number is 702-873-7722 and they are also listed on petfinder under the SPCA

Adopt A Rescue Pet is still holding their adoptions at the Petsmart at Lake Mead/Rainbow and the Petco at Spring Mt/Rainbow on Sat & Sun from 10-3. CONGRATULATIONS TO 'ADOPT A RESCUE PET' WHO IN THE LAST YEAR SAVED OVER 825 DEATH ROW DOGS FROM THE DEWEY SHELTER

All Clark County, City of North Las Vegas and the City of Las Vegas animals are now at the Lied shelter.

The Lied Shelter is located at 655 N. Mojave in Las Vegas. The closest cross streets are Mojave and Bonanza just off the I-95 at Eastern. The phone number for the Lied Shelter is 702-384-3333. There are about 500 adoptable animals in this shelter. They are a low kill shelter and euth for space availability. One animal adopted is a safe place for another to live.
