ABOUT US!
Knoah's Ark is a non-profit, dog rescue and sanctuary on 40 acres in Sandy Valley, approximately 50 miles southwest of Las Vegas. It was founded about 10 years and the vision has been to rescue and care for those who cannot speak for themselves and to find forever homes for as many as the animals as we can. The organization has also dedicated a sanctuary for the ones that will stay forever at Knoah's Ark.
We were once considered to be the largest private, no-kill rescue in the state of Nevada, with over 250 dogs on the property. Due to financial struggles and lack of staff, Knoah's Ark has reconstructed itself to focus on the individual pet in need and matching it with that special person or family. Knoah's Ark has come to the realization that we cannot save them all (there are hundreds of dogs on the county and city shelters' kill lists every day), but WE CAN SAVE ONE LIFE AT A TIME.
Sanctuary adoption visits can be made by appointment only. Please call (702) 808 - 4605. All donations, including adoption fees and food, are tax-deductible.
