Some might say the heroes are those thousands of dogs and cats who forgive humans for their dreadful treatment and are still willing to be our best friends.
Every time your shop at K-9 Barracks & Bath you’re supporting the animal rescue organization Adopt A Rescue Pet. Many of our products’ sales directly benefit the housing and medical care of the animals awaiting adoption through this charity.
"I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. I will not refuse to do the something I can do." -- Helen Keller

ADOPTIONS ARE HELD WEEKLY SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS From 10:00 am - 3:00 Pm @ 2 locations in Las Vegas Petsmart 2140 N.Rainbow Blvd @ "The best of the west shopping center" Lake Mead and Rainbow Petsmart Craig and Mlk Adoption fees are requested to help offset the cost of the animal and put toward the rescue of others. No administrative fees are taken from the adoption fee. The fees vary but usually range from $50 to $450. These monies are not intended to make a profit nor do they normally cover all the expense that is put into the dog. They are merely requested to help offset the cost to the group. All of our animals are fully vaccinated and spayed or neutered (unless too young), and are also microchip identified. Many have been in a home so the personality and temperament of the animal is known. We do not place an animal in the home just because we need to make space for a new rescue. We prefer to put the animal's best interest at heart and not place the animal in a home that is not suitable for the animal. (We do not adopt medium or large dogs out to apartments - regardless if the dog is a puppy at the present time - all dogs grow up) Due to the numbers of pets in the shelter system not all animals are able to be rescued. We do what we can and other adoption agencies do what they can, but the end to over population and unwanted and LOST pets starts with the owner.
