This very sweet gelding is quiet and sound. Little Bear is 2002 gelding
captured at Jakes Wash in northern Nevada as a two year old. He was adopted
in 2006, abandoned in 2009 and rescued by The Huppie Syndicate. He is a
stout and well built 14 hands and has a beautiful long back. Although he had
no formal training he is a very good natured, affectionate boy. Even when we
turn him out to be with other horses he will find his way back to humans and
ask for attention and play. He is quiet, has ground manners, halters, leads,
loads and is good for our farrier. Little Bear loves to be groomed and
touched.
He is currently under saddle and being fostered by our trainer. Our trainer
is riding him daily and has started working him in the arena. He tells us
that Little Bear is tentative under saddle and wants no trouble. Little
Bear deserves someone to love and adore him for the wonderful boy that he
is. Could that be you?

Adoption Requirements
Our requirements for adoption are that your facility be able to pass our inspection for safety and comfort of the horses. You may board the horse as long as the facility meets those requirements. If you have your own horse property, we need verification that you do indeed own the property. If you are renting a horse property, we need verification from the owner of the property that you are allowed to house horses at the rental. We will ask questions about previous and current horse ownership and ask you for references. Once the application process is complete we will have you fill out our adoption contract, complete a brand inspection and arrange transportation of the horse. If a horse is not trained, training may be included in the adoption application and you may be required to work with our trainer.
Nevada State Law requires all ownership transfers to have a Brand Inspection.
