WHAT CARE IS PROVIDED?
Shots are updated, dogs are spayed or neutered, vet care is provided if needed, shelter is given either in a foster home or kennel, when available and the dog is evaluated before placement in a new home.
WHAT IS THE ADOPTION PROCESS?
Contact us at windwalker @powernet.net, 775 972-7804. Anyone interested in adopting a Weimaraner must fill out an Adoption Application. The applicant will be contacted for an interview and a home inspection (if possible) will follow. When approved, the family and pets will meet the rescue dog to determine if all goes well. The adoption is finalized with an Adoption Contract. We do charge an adoption fee to cover expenses. The fee is reduced for senior dogs. We will assist with helping the dog adjust to the new home and to become a member of your family.
