Who We Are
Tiny Paws Dog Rescue Canada assists small mixed breeds 20 lbs and under, and purebreds when breed rescue is unavailable to assist. We currently have members and fosters in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Manitoba and Alberta. New members and fosters are always welcome. Please contact us for more information.
DONATING TO TINY PAWS
Tiny Paws Dog Rescue has saved many dogs lives and taken them into our rescue. We have found numerous loving homes for our rescue dogs. However, our vetting expenses were double of what we received in adoption fees and we are constantly fundraising to cover these large expenses. We are always looking for donations to help our little ones. We have several options for those looking for tax deductions, especially at income tax time, as we are a registered charity and will glady give you a receipt for any donation $10.00 and over.
We have a donate button on the home page of our website at
www.tpdr.ca that will direct you to Canada Donates. When you are done filling out the information and paying via credit card you can print out a tax receipt immediately.
FOSTER HOMES URGENTLY NEEDED!!
Our foster situation is URGENT. We have had to turn down a number of young, adoptable dogs due to lack of private foster homes. Please consider opening your heart and home to a dog that otherwise would not have a home or may even be slated for euthanization due to the pet overpopulation problem in our shelters.
Tiny Paws pays for all approved vetting by approved veterinarians. The foster is asked to supply food, collar and leash and flea shampoo and most importantly a safe environment where these dogs can learn about love. Foster homes work to rehabilitate the dog under the guidance of our other members and foster homes.
If you would be interested in becoming a part of our great team of members and foster homes, please email us at email@example.com requesting an application.
Thanks so much.
Adopting A Friend
Please contact us at our Email address firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in adopting one of our dogs. We will send you our adoption application to complete. Once we receive an original copy of the adoption application we will begin checking your references (one vet reference and two personal references). We then will contact you to set up a home visit and whenever possible we bring along the dog you are interested in adopting so they can meet your current pets and entire family in your own home.
Our adoption fees are as follows:
0 -2 Years of Age - $375.00
3 -8 Years of Age - $350.00
9+ Years of Age -$250.00
We only adopt within Canada. TPDRC places the Dog with no warranty as to the physical condition or temperament of the dog beyond the information provided to us by our veterinary doctors. The Adopter accepts the dog as is with all issues, either observable or unobservable, and assumes all risk for such dog from the date of signing the adoption contract. For more information on the adoption process, visit our website at www.tpdr.ca
All of our dogs are in private foster homes being assessed and vetted. We do not have a physical location where you can visit the foster dogs. We are all volunteers and we make every attempt to respond and assist everyone in a timely manner. Many of us also have full time jobs and families as well, we ask for your patience.
