AWA's LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC is up and running!! We hold two to three clinics per month. The cost for dogs is $70 - male or female. Call 575.317.7439 for an appointment or more information. Payment is required at check-in.
Who We Are
Animal Welfare Alliance is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization and completely volunteer driven. No one in our organization draws a salary. We rely solely on donations and 100% of funds collected are used for vet care and supplies for the pets. We gratefully accept donations of any amount, which are all tax deductible.Adopting a friend
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, please call Judy at 575.317.7439 or send an e-mail to AWA-ROSWELL@cableone.net for a Pre-Adoption Questionnaire. Adoption fees start at $60 for cats and $75 for dogs. Adoption fees pay for vet checkups, vaccinations, deworming, testing, etc. It does not nearly cover the cost of food and supplies while waiting for a new home. Our overall rescue cost is far in excess of these amounts. FOSTER HOMES: We are a "shelterless" shelter! This means we rely 100% on foster homes. If you have room in your heart and your home for an extra pet, please let us know.
