~Who We Are~

Clovis Animal Welfare League has been the voice of animal welfare in the Clovis area for more than a decade. CAWL helps people afford to get their companion animals sterilized. We do this by helping with a portion of the cost of the surgery. This has encouraged more pet owners to have their pets sterilized in the Clovis area. Currently there is only one other program in place to help with the cost of animal sterilization or with the problem of the over population of pets in this area. CAWL has also provided dog houses for many of the outdoor dogs in the local area. Our organization has worked closely with our local animal control to help better the lives of the animals that are in their custody by providing many of the things needed to make them more comfortable during their stay. We have been able to provide things such as blankets, dogs beds, cat play cages, washer, dryer, slip leashes, transport boxes, along with many other things that we have been able to provide because of the support of our community and our volunteers. CAWL can always use any sort of donations to help with companion animals or any of the animals that end up in our local shelter. Our organization is a 501c3 non profit group, so any donation is always tax deductible.
