Who We Are

AFFF provides care and assistance to homeless cats in Albuquerque. We do this by: *Conducting trap/neuter/vaccinate/return of feral (wild) cats. *Monitoring and feeding feral cats who have been sterilized and re-released. *Providing foster homes for friendly cats we find living in feral colonies. *Assising individuals with homeless cats on their property. *Working with apartment complexes to humanely manage excessive numbers of stray cats

Adopting a friend

All cats adopted through AFFF are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and tested for feline leukemia. Adoptive homes must agree to keep cats indoors, and agree NOT to declaw. AFFF cannot guarantee the health or temperament of any cat, but adoption fees are refundable within two weeks of the adoption date if a problem does develop.

Come Visit Us!

AFFF is foster based only, and does not have a public shelter. If you would like to adopt one of our cats, please contact us for a foster home visit.
