Welcome to Felines & Friends New Mexico
As a "Second Chance" Organization, Felines & Friends New Mexico works with the Sante Fe and Espanola shelters by accepting special needs cats, such as kittens who are yoo young for placement or need to be socialized, and adults who have health or behavioral issues, most of which can be resolved with loving attention and time.
We are proud to work with other shelters and rescue organizations to place as many animals as possible and give "second chances" to those with special needs.
To date, we have found homes for over 2,700 cats and dogs.

Why Us?
In 2010, the cost of supplies, food, vet care and medicine cost us just under $300 per cat, but we only request an adoption fee of $100.
Felines & Friends relies solely on donations and 100% of funds collected are used for the vet care and supplies for the cats. We are a 501(c)(3) non profit organization and gratefully accept donations of any amount, which are tax deductible.
