Our mission is to help end pet homelessness and the killing of adoptable dogs and cats. Through careful screening and follow up, we match animals with loving homes. We provide information on pet care, spay and neuter services, and how to manage feral cat colonies.
*New Mexico Animal Friends (NMAF) is a non-profit, tax-expempt, volunteer animal welfare organization.
FOSTER!
NMAF relies on fostering to care for animals until they are adopted. The more foster homes we have, the more animal lives that can be saved! If you are able to offer a temporary home to a cat or kitten, please call Jeri @ 292-6114; for a dog or puppy, please call Elaine @ 232-4719.
PET ADOPTION INFORMATION!
For more information on any pet, please refer to the CONTACT PERSON, telephone number, and e-mail address listed per animal. Adoption advocates and/or the fosters are the direct link to more information on the animal you are inquiring about and would like to meet.
NMAF requires an adoption application and home visit prior to any decision regarding adoption.
GENERAL INFORMATION: For information on our programs and services, volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, and adoption clinic locations and dates, please visit our website at www.nmaf.org.
