Halfway Home Animal Rescue Team
Our Mission
Halfway Home Animal Rescue Team (HHART) rescues, provides temporary sanctuary and all necessary care, rehabilitates and ultimately rehomes animals in need.
We focus on those animals in crisis; especially seniors, special-needs and those in life-threatening situations. We assist animals without regard to breed, health, temperament, age or ease of placement.
HHART is an all-volunteer, foster-based group operating primarily in the Northern New Jersey area. We will work with other like-minded individuals and groups to maximize our efforts in saving animals.
In addition, HHART provides community Spay/Neuter, Food Bank, and Medical Assistance programs to help reduce the homeless animal population and keep animals out of shelters.
