We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals. We are proud to celebrate our 40TH .year!
. Currently, there are many pets awaiting adoption. We board most of are pets at our kind veterinary kennel. They are loved and cared for by several very loving young women who take excellent care of each and every one of our pets. Some of our pets are still in their own home and are looking for a new loving home.
Services
Our services include adoption, assisting in finding a lost pet, education and information, as well as assisting with spaying/neutering of pets. We also issue low cost spay/neuter certificates issued on behalf of the "Friends of Animals." To receive a certificate, please call us at (908)689-4425.
Adoption Policies
Dogs and Cats - Unspayed and unneutered animals require a mandatory purchase of a Friends of Animals spay/neuter certificate, AND A SMALL DONATION. Neutered and spayed animals will require a donation. THERE IS AN ADOPTION AGREEMENT THAT MUST BE SIGNED. When you see one of our wonderful pets for adoption, please call and we make it so easy for you to visit the pet at the foster care home. We also want you to know that all our pets have had a health check, shots if needed, and are living in a home, have hands on love and are ready for your lap. WE HAVE A RULE..WE DO NOT PLACE KITTENS WITH FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER 7. NOR PUPPIES WITH FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER 7. THIS IS FOR THE VERY LIFE AND HEALTH OF THE BA BY PET. THANK YOU.
Volunteering
Volunteers are desperately needed to provide foster homes for pets that are waiting to be adopted. Because we do not have a shelter, we rely on volunteers to care for the animals at their homes until a pet is adopted. We provide all medical costs, food and will provide a crate, condo or any other reasonable assistance as needed. We value all our volunteers, and appreciate the work they do.
