We are a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of animals.
We are proud to celebrate our 35TH .year!
We do not have a shelter, therefore - We rely on our volunteers who foster all of our available animals. Currently, there are many pets awaiting adoption.
Services
Our services include adoption, assisting in finding a lost pet, education and information, as well as assisting with spaying/neutering of pets. We also issue low cost spay/neuter certificates issued on behalf of the "Friends of Animals." To receive a certificate, please call us at

Adoption Policies
Dogs and Cats - Unspayed and unneutered animals require a mandatory purchase of a Friends of Animals spay/neuter certificate, AND A SMALL DONATION. Neutered and spayed animals will require a donation. THERE IS AN ADOPTION AGREEMENT THAT MUST BE SIGNED. When you see one of our wonderful pets for adoption, please call and we make it so easy for you to visit the pet at the foster care home. We also want you to know that all our pets have had a health check, shots if needed, and are living in a home, have hands on love and are ready for your lap. WE HAVE A RULE..WE DO NOT PLACE KITTENS WITH FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER 7. NOR PUPPIES WITH FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UNDER 7. THIS IS FOR THE VERY LIFE AND HEALTH OF THE BA BY PET. THANK YOU.
WE ARE GOING TO START A REQUEST FROM THE WARREN COUNTY PUBLIC FOR A DONATION OF 5 OR MORE ACRES OF LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF STARTING A BUILDING FUND TO CONSTRUCT A SHELTER IN WARREN COUNTY TO PROVIDE SHELTER, CARE AND MEDICAL NEEDS PLUS SPAY/NEUTER AND ADOPTIONS FOR ALL THE HOMELESS, ABANDONED, UNWANTED DOGS AND CATS, PUPS AND KITTENS IN OUR COUNTY OF WARREN. I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT WE WILL HAVE 100'S OF VOLUNTEERS TO HELP AND WE HAVE MANY ANIMAL GROUPS THAT WILL BE ABLE TO MAN THIS NEW SHELTER. WE NEED SUPPORT FROM ALL OF YOU IN WARREN COUNTY IN ORDER TO MAKE THIS COME TRUE. WE ARE ONE OF THE VERY FEW COUNTIES LEFT IN THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY THAT DOES NOT HAVE A SHELTER. WE DO NOT INTENDTHIS TO BE THE LOCAL POUND FOR THE COUNTIES DISTRICTS, BUT WE WILL TAKE THE PETS THAT ARE GOING TO BE KILLED AFTER THE 7-10 DAYS IN THE POUND. Volunteering
Volunteers are desperately needed to provide foster homes for pets that are waiting to be adopted. Because we do not have a shelter, we rely on volunteers to care for the animals at their homes until a pet is adopted. We provide all medical costs, food and will provide a crate, condo or any other reasonable assistance as needed. We value all our volunteers, and appreciate the work they do.
