About Us

News

Wow, another year is almost gone!  We've had about 200 adoptions this year. Animals that may have been put to sleep or allowed to go feral where they could starve or get hit by cars were saved by people like you.

We have some great kittens and cats available.  Some of them are a little older, 12-16 weeks.  People look and say - oh I want a little one.  Well, the 12 - 16 week old has all their shots, has been spayed or neutered and their purrsonality is pretty much developed.  If a kitten is outgoing and friendly, you know what you're getting.

As always, the work we do is limited by the donations we receive.  We have had to stop taking in new animals, due to expenses.  Please think of us and the animals we help and pick up a little something extra at the store for the kitties, scoopable litter, kitten food, toys - it all helps.  Giftcards to Amazon, Petco and Petsmart help us buy the things we need. Monetary donations help us pay for the medical care and spay/neuter of the kitties and puppies we bring in.

We ask you, no plead with you, to spay and neuter your pets and encourage your friends to do the same. Way to many animals are killed in shelters every year.

Adopting A Friend

Message through PetFinder or email us directly at rebeccasrescues@yahoo.com for an application to adopt. We bring the cats or kittens that you would like to meet to your home, to meet your family and other pets to be sure that we find the right match for each of our little furbabies.

Who We Are

Rebecca’s Rescues is a 501c3 non-profit cat rescue based out of Ocean County, New Jersey. Our desire is to educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as to find loving homes for the many homeless cats currently suffering without a place to call home. Our goal is to ensure that as many cats as we can, get to live a life off the streets, out of cages and into warm, caring,... permanent homes. We strive to find the perfect home and we aim to do this by doing home checks and meet and greets before we place any cat into an adoptive home.
Spay and neuter services and any necessary medical care is provided for all of our rescues. In addition, we work diligently to Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) as many stray cats as we can. Through the promotion of responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals, we hope to end the suffering of all animals.
