We are sad to annouce that Tiffany, our special lady, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 3/15/13. She was known and loved by many, she was an inspiration and a fighter. She loved so much and so hard. She will always be missed.
To be considered for adoption, you must fill out our Adoption Agreement and Application and return it to us (either my e-mail or regular mail). If approved, a deposit will be requested to place a hold on the particular dog that you are interested in, which will be deducted from the adoption fee. Our pugs are not adopted on a first-come, first-served basis, all applicants go through a thorough screening process, including veterinarian reference checks, personal reference checks and home inspections. Therefore, it is strongly suggested that you submit an application for pre-approval of any pug that may come in that suits you and your family.
Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to request an application. If you are applying for any particular dog, please indicate the name in your e-mail.
Formed in 2012, Love For Pugs Rescue is a NJ Non Profit Corporation dedicated to saving pugs that are surrendered by their owners, in shelters, abandoned, and neglected. Our mission is to place needy pugs into loving, caring forever homes. We are an all-volunteer, not for profit organization dedicated to the pug breed. LFPR will take any and all pugs regardless of age, health condition and/or temperament. We will also take pug mixes on a room available basis.
All pugs are placed in foster care with dedicated volunteers. Evaluation and veterinary care include: vaccinations, heartworm testing, spaying/neutering and treatment for any known illnesses.
We also assist with surrounding pug rescues for transport and foster home needs.
LFPR serves Central New Jersey.
All fosters are placed in private homes. Please contact us to schedule an appointment to view the dog that you are interested in.
