Hudson Valley Ferret Rescue of NJ (HVFR) is partnering with petfinder.com to exhibit and feature our little fuzzie friends at the Meadowlands Pet Expo.
Event Info: Meadowlands Expo Center at Harmon Meadow, Secaucus, NJ on Saturday, November 20th from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm and Sunday, November 21st from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
This is one of the biggest pet expos in NJ and we are very excited to partake in this event. We will be representing our rescue (HVFR), as well as petfinder.com. We are very honored and grateful to petfinder.com for giving us this wonderful opportunity.
Hudson Valley Ferret Rescue of NJ is a not-for-profit rescue. We work to find loving, responsible homes for our sweet little fuzzies! We make sure that each ferret is healthy and up to date on vaccinations.
Adopting a Friend
If you are interested in adopting one of our ferrets, please contact us. However, we suggest that you do a little research on ferrets first to make sure that they are the right pet for you and your family. We perform over the phone interviews to match the potential owner to the right fuzzies. Since we do not receive any funding from the state, county, or local government, we do require an adoption fee which helps with some of the veterinary bills. If you adopt a bonded pair of fuzzies, we give you the cage for free.
Keep in mind that fuzzies come in to the rescue on a regular basis. In some cases, many of the ferrets aren't posted on petfinder yet. If you are serious about adopting; please give us a call to discuss.

Donations
If you would like to make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated. 100% of all donations go towards veterinary care, food, and other ferret essentials! We can always use extra cages, pet carriers, blankets, hammocks, potties, bowls, paper towels, baby wipes, etc. If you would like to donate any items, please call us so that we can make arrangements for pick up. Thank you!
