We occasionally have available pet birds in need of
new homes. Species range from finches and doves to macaws and cockatoos.

11/16/08 - South Jersey Bird Club's Parrot Adoption Program is
happy to announce that we are now a member of Petfinder.com. We feel that the
exposure our program will receive by participating in Petfinder will increase
the number of qualified homes available for pet birds that are in need of them.

Who We Are
The South Jersey Bird Club is a non-profit organization
dedicated to improving the lives of our avian friends through responsible bird
ownership by example, education, research and service. Our Parrot Adoption
Program matches pet birds in need of new homes with people that are able to
provide safe, loving homes and a good quality of life for these birds. We do not
adopt to breeders, resellers of any sort, pet stores or people under the age of
21.
Adopting a friend
To adopt a pet bird from our program, you must fill
out our Adoption Application and mail it to us. (Yes, you must fill it out and
actually mail it!) Of course you are welcome to call for more info. All
potential adopters must agree to a pre-adoption home visit. Get your Adoption
Application filled out and your name on our Waiting List for a bird that needs a
new home! We do not maintain a shelter, the pet birds that are
occasionally available for adoption are either with their owners or in foster
care until new, suitable homes are found.
