Who We Are
We are a no kill rescue dedicated to rescuing animals. Our mission is to place our rescues in safe, happy, well-balanced homes. All of our animals are placed with foster families who rehabilitate, care for, and love each one while waiting to be adopted. We are a dedicated group of volunteers who have a great passion which is ...to help every and any animal in need. We dedicate endless hours to rescuing any animal who needs us. This rescue does not believe in breed discrimination and welcomes all breeds.

We rescue from families surrendering their pets due to life changes and strays (locally and regionally) needing good homes and the local city pound. Our rescue group often works with dogs and cats on death row at many pounds, high kill shelters and cases where there is no room at the local shelters for them. Donations to our organization go directly toward medical cost of spaying/neutering, up to date shots, worming, tick and flea treatments and heartworm tests.

***Adopting a friend***

There is a pre-adoption application, reference check, meeting required prior to adopting an animal. There is an adoption fee applied to all dogs, cats, rabbits etc. These fees help cover the veterinary care we have provided for the animals while they wait for homes. The fee also helps pay for the food and other general care we provide for the animals as well as pulling fees from the shelter they were in and transporting fees. We regret we are not able to accept personal checks due to the costs involved when checks are returned for insufficient funds. You must be 21 yrs or older to adopt and can not live in a an area where there are dog breed bans. We do adopt to homes outside on the area, but you must travel to us for your new family member as well as email us pictures of your home.

FOSTER HOMES NEEDED!

Foster homes are the most important part of Guardian Angel Animal Rescue, as we can only save as many dogs, cats etc. as we have foster homes for. Every week there are dogs, cats and others in need of rescue. Without people willing to open their hearts and homes, we can not help rescue these homeless animals.

Foster homes provide a safe, loving environment and routine care for an animal while our organization pays for all food and medical expenses. Fostering a dog or cat can be a very rewarding experience as it is a great feeling to know that you are playing a huge part in saving a dog's or cat's life.

We currently are in need of both short and long-term foster homes. Short-term fosters are needed to temporarily care for a dog or cat until they recover from surgery etc. Usually this is no longer than a week. Long-term fosters are needed to care for a dog or cat until they are adopted to their forever home. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months.

We are a group of foster homes without a main location or shelter. Meeting our animals is by appointment only. Thanks to the dedicated foster parents our kittens, cats, puppies, dogs, rabbits and more can get all the love and socialization they need before adoption.
