In 2010, thanks to the diligent effort of our supporters, we were the very first canine rescue in the State of New Jersey to win the Animal Rescue Site's Shelter Challenge our first time participating. Thank you for voting us #1. Our second time participating, in 2012, we were once again voted #1 animal rescue in New Jersey!  A huge thank you goes out to you!

Thanks to the diligent effort of our supporters, we are now the very first canine rescue to win the Shelter challenge in the State of New Jersey! You have really come through for us! You put us up on the board and demonstrated the strength of our efforts! We would like to extend a gazillion thank you's to our supporters. Without you, we literally would not be receiving this award! We are thrilled that we finished the long Shelter Challenge on the Animal Rescue Site as the #1 rescue in the State of New Jersey. What a wonderful accomplishment for a small rescue. You have made our determination to continue our rescue efforts even stronger for 2013.

FOSTER homes are urgently needed. More animals can be rescued with your help. A two and a half week commitment is required. A crate, food, and medical care are provided. Simply send us an email and advise as to your interest. We will send you the proper information in order to get you started.

Adopting a friend

Complete an online application on our new website. The application will be processed and you will be contacted asap! If your application is approved, you may place an animal on hold for you to meet.

Our adoption procedures:

Appointments will be made for you to meet your new life long friend. The adoption fee is a $300.00 donation which goes towards all rescue expenses. This fee is 100% tax deductible as we are a 501(c)3 rescue. There is plenty of care included in that fee, please inquire as to the care given.

Control the Population! If an animal is not altered by the time of the adoption you will be responsible to alter that animal. Information will be provided so that you can get the animal spayed or neutered for a $20.00 co-pay.

BE RESPONSIBLE! Did You Know?

That according to the HSUS:

• Average number of litters a fertile dog can produce in one year: 2
• Average number of puppies in a canine litter: 6-10
• In six years, one female dog and her offspring can theoretically produce 67,000 dogs.

You can help end this needless tragedy. Please spay or neuter your pets and pass the word along..

What can you do to stop the suffering?

Spay and neuter your pet! In addition to saving lives, spaying and neutering can also drastically improve your pet's health and life expectancy. The idea that pets become fat or lazy when they are spayed or neutered is a myth. Sterilized pets lead healthier, longer lives. Spaying a female eliminates the possibility of uterine and ovarian cancer and greatly reduces the risk of breast cancer. Neutering a male reduces the risk of both prostate enlargement and prostate cancer. Neutering also will make your pet more affectionate and less likely to roam, get in fights, or become lost.
