WHO WE ARE

TJ'S S.A.R. of Mt. Holly is a small animal rescue located in Mt. Holly, NJ. It was founded in February, 2006. The rescue works together with Have a Heart Guinea Pig Rescue and foster homes to rescue small animals from kill shelters and find them loving, forever homes. TJ'S S.A.R. of Mt. Holly is also dedicated to the prevention of unwanted litters. Our pet list includes companion animals who are in need of loving families!

The recue is currently fostering kittens for PAWS in Philadelphia. Keep watching for them to be posted. They MUST be adopted through PAWS!! If you have any kitten supplies i.e.powered kitten formula, kitten chow, old baby blankets or anythiing kitten related you would like to donate, please contact us!!!Thanks

FOSTER HOMES - Foster homes are ALWAYS needed. If you have a little extra space for a temporary "visitor", please contact the rescue to foster one of our many homeless pets. The more foster space we have, the more small animals get rescued! We are currently in need of fosters for Syrian hamsters.

DONATIONS are ALWAYS appreciated and go toward the veterinary costs we incur for the proper care of our rescued animals. Remember...even the smallest donation goes a long way!\

. Keep watching the site for the newest additions: 10 baby Syrians hamsters that came from an over-breeding situation in North Jersey on 3-29-08! They are approximately 3-4 weeks old and very friendly. They range in colors from gold to cream to cinnamon. Watch the site for their listings!!!!!! ,

NEWS

Beginning in June 2008, we will once again start accepting hamsters and gerbils on a limited basis however due to State regulations we are unable to accept any dwarf hamsters, ferrets or chinchillas.We will not be accepting rats, mice or degus. Any dwarf hamsters currently in the rescue will be re-homed without an adoption fee or adoption contract. Thank you





EVENTS

TJ's has many used Critter Trail cages available for a small

donation as well as a few My First hamster cages. Please ask if you need a cage.

You will be helping in the care of a rescue animal. Any amount will help greatly! Even if we only get $1 from every person that visits!!

117 LIVES HAVE BEEN SAVED so far because of TJ'S S.A.R.of Mt. Holly and it's rescuers. Most animals are saved from local animal shelters where they are in danger of being euthanized.

THE RESCUE CURRENTLY HOUSES 34 little ones waiting for forever homes.
