News
We need your help now. Cats start breeding in January and February so you need to spay them now. The surrounding towns in our immediate area do not have any animal SHELTERs. Cats are trapped or picked up and held for 7 days in a room at a local vets office. If they are NOT CLAIMED in 7 days they are put down. Ferals are trapped and put down ASAP. It is a very INEXPENSIVE ANIMAL CONTROL POLICY in an area that could afford to do better.
We believe our animals DESERVE BETTER. We would like to help people do the TRAP/ NEUTER/RETURN program from Alley Cat Allies but need funds. You can go to our website to sponsor a spay or neuter for a stray cat at www.catnipfriendsrescue.com
The Borough of FLEMINGTON has adopted TNR and we say Thank You to all of you who made this possible.
If you would like to sponsor an ourdoor cat Please send your donation to Catnip Friends PO Box 189 Ringoes, NJ 08551. We are a 501 3C non profit so your contributions are tax deductable. Together we can make a huge difference in their lives.
We are looking for some good Barn Homes for some of our shy cats. They are all spayed and neutered and up to date on shots. If interested email barrbuff@yahoo.com
The only way to stop the needless deaths of 5,000,000 animals a year is to stop overpopulation is through spay/neuter. It's going to take all of us together to do this.
Please urge your family, friends and co-workers do the right thing and SPAY/NEUTER their pets.
Who We Are
We are a small group of individuals who provide TNR services in our local community and help place the kittens that we find into their forever homes. The cats and kittens are fostered in our homes. We are always looking for more volunteers if you would like to join us please e-mail me at Lindapcs@yahoo.com. We also need fosters for puppies.
We also provide complete care for all the cats that we spay and neuter. So we need a lot of cat food wet and dry and people to help us feed them. We have several colonies in Hunterdon County that need food every day and it's a lot of kitty food.
If you would like to feed the cats we have a cat decorated bin at the Shoprite of Flemington near the exit door! The cats gobble up Friskies canned all flavors and for a special treat Fancy Feast. For dry they love Purina One. Thank You Shoprite and all of you who support the cats..
WE GREATLY appreciate it.! You can purchase it there or bring it in from another source. Anything you can do to help the cats is appreciated we can not keep this program running with out you. It takes a village to help these cats.
